Our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm are packed full of interest with demonstrations or talks from top professionals and we have a great line up for this year.

Matt is a figurative and portrait artist from Northamptonshire. Anyone who saw Matt in action last year will know that we’re in for a treat. Who can forget the vibrant painting of Kevin and the way we were all mesmerised as the portrait came to life before our eyes? Matt talked us through his process from beginning to end. Another portrait in oils is promised for tonight’s meeting.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!! CHANGE OF VENUE!!

The meeting on 2nd June 2026 will be held at St John The Baptist Church, Aldenham. The address is Church Lane, Aldenham, Watford, WD25 8BE.

Phil Biggs makes the journey to Watford on 2nd June, to demonstrate his skill in painting with watercolour. Of course, Phil is no stranger to us and we know what beautiful pieces he creates, using dramatic lights against darks. There is also a wonderful depth to his paintings, inviting you into the scene.

Come along at 7.30pm on Tuesday 2nd June at the St John The Baptist Church in Aldenham (see address above) to see what Phil has in store for us. Visitors are welcome (£10 at the door).
