JANUARY 2026 MEETING AT HARLEQUIN
Our January Social Group meeting took place on Thursday, 29 January 2026, at the Harlequin in Watford. We gathered in the Gallery above the Upper Mall to meet Amma Gyan, the curator of the art space.
Amma welcomed us with a guided walk through the Gallery, sharing the space’s purpose and vision and answering our questions. The Gallery showcases work by a range of local artists, including paintings, jewellery, textiles, and more. It was a lovely opportunity to learn about the creative community represented there and to see the variety of work on display.

After our gallery visit, we continued our tradition of “tea & chat” at Jamaica Blue, opposite M&S. It’s a spacious café that easily could accommodate our group of seven artists. The atmosphere is relaxed, and both the food and prices are very reasonable — a comfortable spot to unwind together after a creative morning.
We look forward to our next Social Group gathering and hope to see many of you there for more conversation, creativity, and connection.
