Petra has lived in Bushey for fifteen years. Born in Oldham, she studied Fine Art at Newcastle University and then worked for the Oldham Art Gallery for three years before she moved south to start twenty-five years of teaching. Her artwork is inspired by her curiosity about cultures and her love of travel, and her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions. “Painting has been and still is just a part of my life. I am lucky enough to have the time to enjoy making my canvases and even luckier, people are interested in buying them so that even more people can share them.”
