DESCRIPTION:This will be Laura Reiter’s first visit to WBAS. Laura describes herself as an “Artist in love with colour”. Travel\, at home and abroad\, is the inspiration for the semi-abstract screenprints and mixed media pieces that have won her several prizes. Apart from selling her artwork\, Laura teaches and has written two books on abstract painting.

DESCRIPTION:Jill is a new artist to visit WBAS. She is a member of the Society of Botanical Artists and she trained at the Chelsea Physic Garden in London. She has had two books published\, “Drawing Flowers” and “Painting Flowers”. Her work is exquisite!  \n\n\n\nJill draws and paints plants\, fruits and vegetables using colour pencil\, pen and ink\, and watercolour.  She will be demonstrating her skill to those at today’s meeting.

Joan Eardly\, the British Artist\, (1921 – 1963) painted the street children of Glasgow. Let’s hear who and what influenced their art.
